I had the opportunity to visit a friend in Columbia, MO this weekend. Missouri, sans-this election featuring Michael J. Fox ads is a state that does not strut. It seems to quietly go about its business of farming and producing beer, without causing a fuss. Saturday morning, we drove out in the middle of a Pearl Jam "Yield" album cover, to look for this gigantic tree in the middle of a field. We found that tree, and it was big, and we did take plenty of pictures of that tree. And when we were done taking pictures of the gigantic tree in the middle of the field I felt that I had accomplished something. I had done something unique to Missouri. Something that unless you knew someone who lived in Missouri you would have never known about the gigantic tree in the middle of the field. So enjoy the photo, and keep Missouri in your thoughts.
